Product Team Transformation
Your team is delivering. But is it delivering the right things?
I help product teams shift from output-focused delivery to outcome-driven product work - customer-centric, value-based, and built on real discovery.

WHAT YOU GET
Where your team ends up
From output to outcomes
The team strives toward real impact for the company - not just getting the tasks done.
A real discovery practice
Regular customer contact and validation before building - as a habit, and with a real understanding of why it’s essential.
Product, design and engineering as one team
No more silos or arguing about who did what right - one team building something with impact, where everybody feels ownership and accountability.
FROM OUTPUT TO OUTCOMES
Not a people problem. A structural one.
Most product teams are busy. They ship features, hit deadlines, keep stakeholders updated. What they often don’t do is regularly ask whether any of it is moving the needle for customers or for the business. That’s not a people problem - it’s a structural one. The team is optimised for delivery, not for finding and solving the right problems.
Changing that takes more than a framework. It takes someone willing to work inside the system, challenge the habits that are holding the team back, and build new ones that stick.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Where the change happens
🎯
Outcome-driven planning:
Planning around outcomes, and prioritising by the value they create.
💬
Unwavering customer discovery:
Regular customer contact and validation before building - not just when there’s time.
🧭
A clear product strategy:
So the team knows what they’re optimising for and why.
🤝
Product, engineering and design:
Working in synergy rather than handing work over to each other.
✋
Saying no, and saying yes smarter:
Product managers with the authority to say no - and smarter about what they say yes to.
🤖
AI in how the team works:
AI accelerating and empowering the whole team.
HOW IT WORKS
How a transformation runs
Product transformation is a long process, and it should only be undertaken if the company truly wants it and has the resources for it. My appointment is usually at least six months - with several clients, we’ve worked together for years.
01
The Product Management Audit first
I look at the status quo: which practices are aligned with the product operating model and which aren’t, and what helps the team move forward or holds it back - all through the lens of what management wants to achieve this year and in the years after.
02
Goals and a plan we agree on
Together we set short, mid and long-term goals and agree on the plan of action, the first trainings and the first steps.
03
Leading the change
Either I lead it as your fractional CPO - defining the product and problem areas to tackle and setting the rituals and best practices in motion step by step - or I empower the team and its product leader as a mentor and coach.
04
Holding the structure
I hold the new structure in place until it holds itself.

SYMPTOMS
Signs you might need this
Product management seems to take on a lot of responsibility, but there’s always an obvious, understandable reason why things aren’t moving. It usually shows up like this:
01
Roadmap driven by opinions
A roadmap made of features, driven by stakeholder opinions more than customer evidence.
02
PMs stuck in meetings
PMs spend most of their time in meetings, not with customers.
03
Priorities keep changing
And the team can’t finish what it started.
