Frequently asked questions

What does “AI-native product team” mean?
It means a product and development team that has rethought how it works with AI built in from the start - not bolted on. Product managers prototype. Specs come partly from AI output. Engineers spend more time on the hard problems and less on the obvious ones. The hand-off between product and engineering changes completely. I help teams get there.
What does a fractional CPO do in the AI era?
The same things a CPO always did - strategy, discovery, prioritisation, team direction - plus building with AI tools directly. I prototype with Lovable and Claude, use AI in research and synthesis, and help the team adopt the same practices. I work part-time but embedded, so the team never feels the absence.
Can people without a technical background really build with AI?
Yes - and I have two proof points. In one company Vibe Coding Academy, seven non-product teams built working prototypes in three weeks. The accounting team built a debt visibility tool that surfaced hundreds of thousands of euros in vendor debt that nobody in the company had been able to see before - a tool IT had said couldn’t be built for eight years. On the EBS Digital Product Management MBA, students from varied backgrounds build and test AI prototypes from week one. Technical background isn’t the deciding factor. Understanding the problem is.
What is the Vibe Coding Academy?
A company-internal programme where non-technical teams - analysts, accountants, HR, marketing, support - learn to build working tools with AI in three weeks. It runs inside your company with your own problems as the material. Teams who know the problem best but have always depended on IT to solve it finally get to build it themselves.
What kind of companies do you work with?
Tech companies in Estonia and the Nordics - from early-stage startups in deeptech, healthtech and AI to scale-ups and larger product organisations. I also mentor founders and product leaders through structured accelerator programmes at Tartu Teaduspark and Tehnopol, and train product teams at companies including Tele2.
Which AI tools do you teach?
It depends on where someone is starting from. Domain experts and people with no technical background tend to get the best results with Lovable - a visual AI app builder where you describe what you want and something appears on screen immediately. The low friction and instant feedback builds confidence fast. Product managers, analysts and more seasoned users tend to get more out of Claude - more control, better for complex logic, and it rewards people who can think in systems. I teach both, and I match the tool to the person and the context.
Is it just you, or do you have a team?
Primarily me, with a trusted network of senior people in design, engineering and research I bring in when a project needs it. The Vibe Coding Academy runs together with my co-trainer Helen.
