Before You Start the Product Management Skills Assessment
This assessment is a tool designed to help you reflect on your current skills and development areas as a product manager. It’s most often used as a conversation starter between a product manager and their manager — to guide yearly or quarterly development discussions and to set goals together. The Test can be taken in Estonian and English.
How?
Filling the test
This self-assessment helps you evaluate your own skill set across five general categories, each containing three to five topics. The goal is to identify your strengths and where you’d like to grow — not to measure perfection.

Setting the Baseline
Before you begin, take this test as a snapshot of where you are right now — not a judgment, but a starting point. Your current strengths and learning areas will help shape your personal development path and guide our future conversations.
Instructions:
Think about your goals - what level do you want to reach as a Product Manager?
Think about the annual goals you have set with your manager and fill this page accordingly
If you don't know what to choose, then aim for Level 3 everywhere.

Filling the Test - Choose Your Level
You’ll find short explanations under each level as reminders.
Be honest, but also kind to yourself — give credit where it’s due. These levels are not fixed; you can always discuss and adjust them later with your manager or mentor.
A good rule of thumb:
If you’ve practiced it consistently and many times, mark 5.
If you’ve tried it once or a few times, but still feel a bit unsure, mark 4.
If you mostly know it in theory but haven’t really practiced, mark 3.
